YouScience

America has a skills gap - not a talent gap. Local communities have the talent to fill in-demand jobs. YouScience helps to uncover and better direct it.

YouScience combines objective measures of aptitudes (natural abilities most important to career choice) with interests to match talent with best-fit, in-demand careers. Aptitudes cut through gender & societal biases that limit visions of opportunities, creating larger, more diverse talent pipelines.

We can help you build a larger, more diverse workforce.

YouScience Talent Pipeline Reports identify actionable talent in your community to fill in-demand careers.
You’ll see that across industries, students have the aptitudes needed for these careers – but often lack the interest. While most students suffer from this misalignment, a lack of exposure creates an especially damaging reality for women and minority students. With these insights, we can help close the gap and allow you to engage the students who can fill the in-demand careers in your community. Click here to download a sample!

After Georgia Power tried several career and job fairs to fill their pipeline of Line Installers with little success, they turned to the Metro Atlanta Chamber for help. By leveraging YouScience analytics, they were able to identify more than 50 students with the aptitude for this position. Working with YouScience, qualified students were invited to an information and hiring event designed to recruit Line Installers. Over 30 students who attended the event signed up for the program.

The Nashville Chamber sponsored YouScience for all Metro Nashville Academies, where freshman take the profile before attending a city-wide career fair. Additionally, by leveraging YouScience data, the academies realigned their program offerings based on students’ talents. More than 60% of the student population had the aptitude for healthcare related careers, but there wasn’t an adequate number of healthcare pathways. The school district reallocated resources, replacing several cosmetology programs, with health sciences. These changes will better align educational pathways with student need, as well as the needs of Nashville’s healthcare community. Click here to hear from our Nashville partners!
