Do gender disparities impact high school graduate preparedness?

A nationwide study of aptitude and interest-based career recommendations showed that based on interest alone, 0% of female high school juniors and seniors were encouraged to consider engineering and technology careers. When aptitude-based measurements were used the number increased to 44%.1 This signals the importance to work collectively to reduce gaps and expose students to more career pathways.
